During the past 24 hours, Port Said Governorate witnessed important events, which varied between emergencies, achievements and official preparations, most notably controlling a fire in a store of a fish factor without injuries, as well as the intensification of the executive bodies of their preparations to receive the blessed Eid Al -Adha, as well as the brilliance of the Freedom Club champions for people with determination in the Egypt Cup for weightlifting, and continued campaigns to remove encroachments on state property.
Control of a fish factory fire … and extensive preparations for Eid al -Adha
The Civil Protection Forces succeeded in controlling a fire that broke out inside a store of a fish factory, where large quantities of cartons and foam were devoured without any injuries, and 4 fire engines were pushed, with a loader to storm the store and besiege the fire and prevent its extension, while the security services are conducting the investigation of the causes of the fire.
Major General Amr Fikry, the Secretary -General of the Governorate, held an expanded meeting with the participation of all executive bodies, to review the governorate plan during Eid al -Adha, which included the formation of operating rooms, intensifying health and supply control campaigns, raising the degree of readiness in hospitals and services facilities, and ensuring the readiness of beaches, public parks and fields designated for Eid prayer.
The Veterinary Medicine Directorate also organized an awareness symposium on health and veterinary preparations for the feast, in the presence of massacres and veterinarians. Meat control efforts and food outlets were reviewed, and stray dog control plans and animals scattered in the streets were reviewed.
On the level of sport, the Freedom Club champions for people with determination in the Egyptian Cup of Weightlifting Championship starred, achieving 4 medals of 3 silver and bronze, and two players qualified for the national team, amid praise from the club’s management to support the governor and motivate players to achieve more achievements.
In the state of state land recovery, the executive bodies continued the work of the wave 26, where 7 violations of a fish farmer were removed from an area of 19500 meters south of Port Said at Bahr Al -Baraq Bank, in addition to removing another case in the cap, while emphasizing the continuation of campaigns and taking legal measures against violators.

Port Said Governorate officials affirmed the continuation of these intensive efforts in various sectors, in a way that ensures the stability of the services provided to citizens, and the enhancement of the readiness of the executive bodies to deal with various situations, in implementation of the directives of Major General Moheb Habashi, Governor of Port Said, towards achieving development and discipline throughout the province.
