Where the Kingdom of Bahrain witnessed today a historic moment in its sporting career by launching the first global training course from the third level of the International Cricket Federation (ICC), organized by the Bahrain Cricket Federation and under the auspices of the International Cricket Federation, as this occasion represents a prominent station not only for Bahrain, but to develop cricket at the entire region.
The event was held at the Movenpick Hotel in Muharraq Governorate, where His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Sadiq Askar, CEO of the General Authority for Sports, and a number of official authorities in the Kingdom and prominent international figures in the field of cricket sport.
At the opening of the training course, Eng. For his part, Mr. Mabshar Othmani, a member of the Board of Directors of the International Federation of Cricket, and Chairman of the Federation Committee, announced the official opening of the session, praising the role played by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa through the leadership of Bahrain to be an important station in the world sport level, noting that the strategic location of Bahrain, generous hospitality and a clear vision towards the development of sports, made it the ideal place to host this historical initiative, expressing the pride of the International Federation For Cracit, to support Bahrain in its career, to become a leading center for excellence in the regionally and globally.
