As part of its continuous societal commitment, the Royal University of Girls (RUW) announced the launch of a new educational initiative called “Supporting her career”, aiming to empower women from the age of 30 years or more to complete their university studies for a bachelor’s degree, within the first semester of the academic year 2025/2026.

The initiative covers 70% of the tuition fees, and is presented within a flexible financial plan that includes comfortable monthly payments, which facilitates women to take a step to return to education without great financial burdens.

In this context, Professor Dr. Riyad Youssef Hamza, President of the Royal University of Girls: “At the Royal University of Girls, we believe that education is not bound by age. The initiative ‘support for her career’ expresses our real commitment to open the doors of education for every woman who aspires to continue her scientific career, whatever the stage she is going through in her life.”

This initiative is consistent with the university’s commitment to the United Nations sustainable development goals, as it contributes to achieving:

• Fourth goal: good education

• Fifth goal: gender equality

This initiative is a practical step in supporting women and providing a comprehensive educational environment that keeps pace with their needs, and contributes to building a promising academic and professional future.

A woman who wants to benefit from this initiative is now available to join the first semester of the academic year 2025/2026.
