A few days ago, I meant the building of the Information Authority and the e -government to accomplish one of the private transactions, everything seemed organized from the moment I entered the outdoor scene, until I stood at the main building portal, where my attention drew my attention to a fierce debate between one of the policemen assigned to secure the building and one of the auditors. The situation was not normal; The policeman insisted on refusing to enter the references because he was wearing very short pants (shorts), in a clear violation of what the policeman described as “public policy and public taste”, the references tried to insist and justify, but the security man remained adhering to his position with steadfastness and respect until the references in the end were forced to leave. The scene left questions and reflectors; Because here we are not talking about just a piece of clothing; Rather, about an appearance that reflects the taste and respect for the place and people. Official institutions, such as the Information and Electronic Government Authority, are facades of the state, and a daily destination for hundreds of citizens and residents, which makes their respect, form and content, a national and moral duty. Adherence to religious and socially accepted clothes should not be merely a recommendation, but rather a practice that reflects our awareness, culture and values that we are brought up on, as the clothing is not a small detail, but a small message It summarizes a lot of values. In Bahrain, we were, we were removed and we will remain, we cherish our cultural, religious and moral heritage, and we are proud that public taste is part of our national identity, so respect for behavioral controls in public places must include everyone without exception, whether they are citizens or residents, and regardless of the circumstance, place or time, what happened to the e -government gate, must be a model for all Places, institutions, governmental or private, including hospitals, health centers and commercial complexes, are required to enhance these values and not to overlook them. Unfortunately, the phenomenon of wearing short and inappropriate clothes has begun to constitute a visual pollution that is not appropriate for the status of Bahrain or the image of its institutions. In conclusion; I can only see a greeting of appreciation to the security men who adhered to the application of the system and did not compromise in front of the pressures of the references, providing a model for discipline and jealousy on the public interest, hoping that all security men and reception employees in public and private institutions will follow his example, so that Bahrain remains as we have entrusted it as a title of taste, ethics and “satellite”. However, the Penal Code in its article is 350 stipulated that “a period of imprisonment is punished for a period not exceeding one year or a fine that does not exceed one hundred dinars, everyone who publicly does the act of shame”, as wearing clothes that violate the criteria of modesty and morals can be classified as a blatant act.
