Al -Watan newspaper organized on the day of the Bahraini Press, which falls on May 7 of each year, an important meeting that includes opinion writers and newspaper journalists in an atmosphere that gives the family character and dominates familiarity and love in appreciation of them and their continuous giving, and the belief of the newspaper that they are the basic pillar and the beating arteel that nourishes the newspaper and provides it with everything that is useful and exciting, and opens new horizons for it to keep pace with the enormous variables And the accelerated in this era, and the meeting led by the editor -in -chief Abdullah Ilhami, who enriched the meeting with the talk of the new and inspiring, in which he affirmed the newspaper’s commitment to its societal responsibility in carrying the trustworthiness of the word, the sincerity of the news, and its tireless endeavor to provide a modern, distinctive and attractive media to the local, Gulf and Arab public opinion. The editor -in -chief opened the way for writers and journalists to add through their valuable interventions everything that would contribute to the development and renewal of the newspaper in particular, and the journalistic and media work in general. In my presence for this meeting on the day of the Bahraini press, and as a writer on the family page, I feel the role of the “responsible word” in building and educating the family as the first cell in building society.
Undoubtedly, the press has a prominent role in building the family as an important partner and responsible in spreading awareness and raising generations, by touching the issues of Bahraini society and the dangers that threaten the entity and stability of the family and put forward appropriate solutions to it that contribute to protecting society from the negative effects of disintegration and family decay, and spreading awareness and educational and family counseling through various media channels. And highlighting the issues of youth and educational challenges on the ground facing parents in light of the technical openness of the existence of partners in education that have a negative impact on young people and children, and how to sensitize them at the hands of experts, specialists, expertise and experience from parents and educators.
I concluded my article by extending thanks to Al -Watan newspaper, and the high content it offers, and its tireless endeavor to keep pace with the change represented by the launch of TV programs in the blessed month of Ramadan, which reflects the Bahraini identity, and enhances authentic values, in addition to the latest news and reports on social media platforms.
