A short time ago, the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, headed by Eng. Khaled Abdulaziz, received an official complaint submitted by the Zamalek Sports Club, against the “Etisalat” and “King Tut Technical Production” companies, due to the announcement that was circulated through social media.

In its complaint, Zamalek was based on the text of Article (4) of Law No. (180) of 2018 regarding the organization of the press and media, which states that “the press institution, the media means and the website publishing or broadcasting any article or advertisement that contradicts its content with the provisions of the constitution, or calls for a violation of the law, or violates the obligations contained in the professional honor charter, or violates public order or public morals, or incites discrimination or violence Or racism or hatred .. ».
The Department of Monitoring at the Supreme Council for Media Regulation had monitored yesterday the spread of the advertisement on social media, and the necessary legal measures were taken in this regard.
