Major General Dr. Khaled Mujawar, Governor of North Sinai, received today, Tim Shely, a member of the US Congress and Evinia Cedias, the deputy of the American ambassador and the accompanying delegation, in his office at the General Court of the Governorate in Al -Arish.
North Sinai Governor receives a member of the US Congress to inspect the Rafah crossing
During the meeting, the governor reviewed the Egyptian efforts to contain the situation in the Gaza Strip in cooperation with a number of partners.
The governor also reviewed a number of threats in the Middle East region, and the Egyptian efforts to contain these threats.
A member of the American Congress appreciated the great role that Egypt plays in calming the situation in Gaza, praising the role of North Sinai Governorate to receive aid and deliver them to the Gaza Strip.
The Governor, a member of the American Congress and the accompanying delegation, took a visit to the Rafah Al -Bari crossing, to see the Egyptian efforts in this regard.
