The activities of the carbon neutrality conference will start next Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in the presence of Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, Dr. Mohamed Farid, Chairman of the Financial Supervisory Authority, Dr. Safwat Al -Nahhas, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Council for Training and Education, Eng.
This comes under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment, the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, and the Regional Center for Sustainable Finance at the General Authority for Financial Supervision.
Carbon neutrality conference
This conference will be held within the framework of the state’s commitment to preserving the environment and facing the phenomenon of climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, global warming and its effects on the environment, through awareness and spreading environmental culture.
The conference discusses the road map to agree with the local and international requirements for this stage, as well as the challenges facing interested parties, whether manufacturers or exporters and how they confront them.
The conference also sheds light on the government’s role in activating the carbon system and also introducing the mechanisms of carbon amendment of the European Union, and the available means to avoid financial fines on exporters.
