The head of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Samir Nass, expressed his hope to achieve 50% of the recommendations of the Bab Bahrain Forum 2025, which was held at a critical time, in which the world is witnessing a change in the balance of international powers with rapid transformations that contribute to the emergence of advanced security threats whose effects have emerged in all fields; Political, security, economic and social, changed the traditional definition and concepts that were used.
He stressed that these transformations are a frequent and successive stage, whose times, forms and time differ, but their shocking effects are the ones that reshape the future, and he said: “With the development of tools to what is beyond the human borders, it is better for us to be aware, and adapt our understanding and methods to prepare for such challenges; Given the great influence that you leave on all of us, we will not be able to see what history will write about us, but we can work together to prepare and expect a better result, we can bear more tension and anxiety, but we can also work together to face these challenges.
Nass added: “The Bab Bahrain Forum witnessed the presence of international leaders, policy makers and economic experts from various countries, in addition to the ministers of the Bahrain government.”
Nass stressed the importance of international cooperation and pluralism to confront commercial wars and their effects, noting the agreement of the participants on the importance of enhancing cooperation between countries to achieve a more stable and prosperous global economy, and the role of Bahrain as a global commercial center.
He added, “The recommendations were delivered to the Prime Minister’s office to form a team and some recommendations require amending the laws of the focus list on what can be implemented in a practical and useful manner.”
