The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture has revealed that it plans to hold the Bahrain and Agricultural Production Exhibition “Marai 2025”.
She explained through a tender that I presented through the Board of Tender and Auctions that the scope of business includes design, planning, marketing, construction and full production of all the requirements of the exhibition, including, for example and not limited to: the opening ceremony, direct offers of animals, agricultural production exhibition, and building temporary facilities, provided that all of this is done according to certain requirements determined by the tender document.
The ministry added that the contract period extends for 4 months, and that the provider of the tender must submit the announcement of compliance with the “Appendix B” and the independent pricing certificate “Appendix C” signed and sealed by the accredited representative of the company, noting that the failure to submit any of these documents will lead to the exclusion of the bid.
It should be noted that since the establishment of its first edition in 2010 under the lofty sponsorship of His Majesty the King, and until its seventh edition this year, the Bahrain International Agricultural and Animal Production Exhibition (Marai) has provided the best promising investment opportunities in the agricultural and animal development sector, and an advanced position on the national calendar to organize and host the major regional and global events, as one of the most important and largest international exhibitions held in the Kingdom of Bahrain, It is embraced by the Bahrain International Village of Qudaa Racing.
The exhibition succeeded, and throughout the previous versions, in attracting a record public presence, whether from inside or outside Bahrain, as an economic, investment, development, scientific, tourism, and entertainment destination, a distinctive entertainment and technical destination specializing in the field of agricultural and animal production, recording a new and distinctive presence and distinctive imprint of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the global map of exhibitions, and another achievement added to the Bahrain team in the Bahrain team in Organizing various major events.
Through its direct responsibility in organizing the exhibition in cooperation with the partners in the private sector, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture is keen to be “Bahrain’s pastures” as a qualitative specialized exhibition that reflects the heritage and identity of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and transmits the cultural heritage to current and future generations, by presenting the rare breeds of Bahrain in Arab horses, and the rare breeds and owners of Bahrain For animals.
The Ministry seeks to develop the goals and activities of the exhibition in each copy, to attract investments in the field of food industries for the Kingdom of Bahrain, and to raise the contribution of the agricultural and animal production sector in enhancing the economy and providing qualitative opportunities for citizens, reviewing the latest technological developments and innovations used in developing the animal agricultural production industry, in addition to highlighting the experiences of farm owners and educators in the Kingdom, and enhancing communication between farmers The buyers, and the increased interaction and trade exchange between exhibitors and investors, to serve the largest national strategic target, which is to enhance the guarantee of the sustainability of food security.
In its past version, the “Marai” exhibition was on national initiatives aimed at achieving food security and upgrading animal and agricultural production, in addition to confirming the Kingdom’s leadership in the field of organizing exhibitions enhanced economy and tourism in it, and encouraging investment in the field of agricultural and animal production to reach self -sufficiency in some food products.
