A statistic of the Ministry of Communications and Communications revealed that the number of bus passengers exceeded last April one million, while the daily average of the same month was 33.8 thousand passengers, and the total passengers from February 2015 until last month reached more than 105 million passengers.

According to the statistics on land transport in the Kingdom, the total number of monthly passengers, last April, reached 1015,452 passengers, with a daily average of 33848 passengers, while the number of passengers from February 2015 to April 2025, 105018989 passengers, and the ministry also recorded a noticeable increase in the number of passengers, as the total number of passengers in January and February, and March 2025 is about 2.8 One million passengers, with a daily average of approximately 30,000 passengers.

The Ministry of Communications and Communications has developed a strategy to update the mass transportation network in Bahrain and improve its services and provide support infrastructure, and as part of this improvement, a number of public transport bus situations have been established with waiting stations and new stop signs, and until this day, there are 633 buses and 72 stops on the road, in addition to 290 waiting buses parking, including 35 air -conditioned stations.

The Ministry indicated that the land transport sector has finished preparing advanced designs for public transport bus waiting stations that reflect the identity of the Kingdom of Bahrain to build new stations in various situations, in addition to developing the Salmaniya station to exchange bus lines to provide prepared and developed places for public transport bus users, which would contribute to raising the efficiency of services provided to public transport users in the Kingdom.

The ministry also created stops for taxis in a number of parking lots as a step to rehabilitate taxi parking spaces in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Where it was adopted and installed in 24 sites distributed throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain.

With regard to the bicycle infrastructure, the Ministry has provided some paths allocated to bikes in the Kingdom of Bahrain in cooperation with the relevant authorities, and the installation of indicative marks in 9 wives distributed in all governorates of the Kingdom.
