Minya Governorate witnessed, today, Friday, a series of important events that varied between high -level official visits and development projects, in addition to a tragic traffic accident on the eastern desert road.
A ministerial visit to the Egyptian countryside project in the western Minya Plain
The team is the engineer of Kamel Al -Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and the Minister of Industry and Transport, accompanied by Dr. Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and Major General Imad Kadwani, Governor of Minya, with an inspection tour of the “Egyptian countryside” project in Plain West Minya and a number of agricultural and development projects in the region.
The ministerial delegation also performed Friday prayers at the Egyptian Al -Reef Mosque, as part of the visit schedule, during which Major General Amr Abdel Wahab, head of the Egyptian Al -Reef Company. The Minister of Awqaf, Dr. Osama Al -Azhari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf in Minya, was delegated to Dr. Omar Khalifa, while the virtue of the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh Al -Azhar, Dr. Muhammad Abdul -Malik, Vice President of Al -Azhar University, Assiut Branch.
A terrible coup accident on the eastern desert road
In another context, the eastern desert road in Minya Governorate witnessed the accident of a microbus coup, which resulted in the death of 4 people and the injury of 9 others, which caused a state of sadness among citizens, amid demands to intensify traffic control and enhance road safety measures.
The security and health services in the governorate are following the implications of the accident, as the injured were transferred to hospitals for the necessary treatment, and a report of the incident was issued and legal measures were taken.
