The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority organized the third edition of the “Connections Luxury Bahrain” event, which was held in partnership with the Jacobs Media Group Group, and with the participation of 30 representatives of the most prominent tourism and travelers specialized in luxury tourism from the United Kingdom, Germany, China, and France. The closing ceremony was held on Tuesday evening at the Jumeirah Gulf Resort, in the presence of His Excellency Mrs. Fatima bint Jaafar Al -Serafi, Minister of Tourism.
During the closing ceremony, Mrs. Fatima bint Jaafar Al -Serafi delivered a speech during which she confirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s hosting of the third version of the “Connections Luxury Bahrain” event reflects its advanced position as a leading destination for luxury tourism on the map of global tourism, due to its advanced tourism infrastructure. Noting the importance of this event in enhancing cooperation between international travel agents, Bahraini hotels and tourist destination management companies in the Kingdom, which contributes to the consolidation of Bahrain’s position as a prominent global tourist destination, and contributes to achieving the tourism strategy 2022-2026.
On this, Mrs. Maryam Tourani, Director of Marketing and Promotion Department at the Authority said: “We are keen to enhance Bahrain’s presence as a global recognized destination in the field of luxury tourism, by organizing and hosting specialized international events, with the aim of introducing the quality of services and hospitality provided by Bahraini hotels and resorts, which all contributed to making the Kingdom a favorite destination for those wishing to take place exceptional experiences, which reflects the increase in the number of Tourists.
The event, which was held over three days, witnessed a series of bilateral meetings held in the two delegations of the Ritz-Carlton and Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain, in addition to field visits to the Forsiezes, Artez-Carlton, and Jumuira, and the Soviet, as well as to the Bahrain International Circuit. A number of guests also had the opportunity to stay in the “Pay Manits Dialogue” resort, one of the most prominent luxury environmental tourism destinations in the region.
The Connections Luxury Bahrain’s effectiveness aims to strengthen the location of the Kingdom of Bahrain as an international platform to establish long -term strategic partnerships among the providers of luxury tourism services around the world and their counterparts in Bahrain, by reviewing the advanced infrastructure, major tourism projects, quality of services and hospitality provided by high -end hotels and resorts in the Kingdom.
