Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Trade, participated in the celebration organized by Al -Hawaj Group on the occasion of the 115th anniversary of the establishment of Samsunite International, in the presence of Mr. Jawad Youssef Al -Hawaj, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al -Hawaj Group, and a number of officials in the Ministry and the group, in the company’s branch in the City Center – Bahrain complex.
On this occasion, the Minister of Industry and Trade stressed that the private sector is a major partner in supporting the national economy, noting the initiatives adopted by the Al -Hawaj Group in resettlement of many brands in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He added that the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in cooperation with the concerned authorities, is working to provide more facilities to ensure the smooth flow of investments, whether local or global, which contributes to strengthening the national economy.
It should be noted that the global company Samsonite is one of the most prominent American brands specialized in the manufacture of bags.
