Al -Jalahmah indicated, during a press conference yesterday, that Bahrain will participate with the Arab Hospitals Union for the first time in organizing the fourth edition of the Manama conference and exhibition, which will be held next December, and drew attention to the possibility of using artificial intelligence on the issue of recording the conversation between the doctor and the patient; For artificial intelligence to transfer this conversation as a file to the visiting patient quickly without the need to write the patient’s medical report to take half the time of the doctor, citing the smart pharmacy at King Hamad Hospital.
Al -Jalahmah indicated that what distinguishes «Manama Health», attracted many companies from all the poles of the world to in turn show smart solutions and products to hospitals, stressing that this is an opportunity for hospitals in the Kingdom, the Gulf states and the Arab countries to choose the programs that suit them.
For his part, the head of the Strategic Planning and Project Management Department in government hospitals and head of the scientific committee of the conference, Dr. Hussein Al -Harmi, that “Manama Health 2025” will be held under the umbrella of the Supreme Council of Health and in cooperation with the Federation of Arab Hospitals, which opens the way for a greater segment of local, international and international relations, explaining that the scientific program accompanying the conference will be more comprehensive with the aim of attracting a larger segment of the visitors.
He stressed that the conference will not be limited to attracting health care providers, but rather will be attractive to technical and technical systems and architects companies, pointing out that the conference slogan “forming the future of health care” aims to focus on many matters to keep pace with development globally, most notably attracting decision -makers in the field of health care. He pointed out that the conference will discuss over 3 days, a group of vital axes, most notably the role of artificial intelligence in diagnosis and medical survey, and medical specialties such as the genome, which is one of the priorities of the National Health Plan, in addition to the radiology and eye specialists.
While the Executive Director of the Arab Hospitals Union, Alice Boys, stressed that artificial intelligence cannot pose a challenge to the medical sector, and that he will not be a “alternative to” human touch “and the human component, noting that his role is limited to helping the doctor and hospital workers to develop in a way that reflects positively on the patient.
She emphasized that he plays an important role in detecting diseases and diagnosing them quickly, enabling medical personnel to protect the system through it, noting that its adaptation in the medical field and its insertion in hospitals will contribute to innovations and positive results and their reflection on patients. Boys explained that the partnership with the organizing committee in Bahrain to organize the fourth edition of the conference and the exhibition comes within the framework of enhancing Arab cooperation in the health sector, noting that the conference will address the most prominent topics related to digital transformation, innovation, and sustainability in providing health care services.
The program will also include other axes that include artificial intelligence applications in hospital management, including electronic systems, warehouse management, pharmacies, laboratories, as well as the standards of modern hospital building.
A group of experts and international speakers from Bahrain, the United States of America, Britain, Egypt and Taiwan will participate in the conference, as they will provide their experiences and experience in health care and advanced medical technologies.
