Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced that his country is ready to hand over Kiev a documentary draft to settle the crisis as soon as the exchange of prisoners of war between the two sides was completed.
“A for a thousand” exchange
Lavrov affirmed that Russia continues preparations for the exchange of prisoners according to the formula of “A for a thousand”, within the framework of what was agreed recently in Istanbul between the delegations of Russia and Ukraine.
Work is underway on the draft agreement
Lavrov explained that each party works to prepare a draft that defines the conditions for reaching a comprehensive agreement, noting that Moscow will hand over its draft to Kiev as soon as the prisoners ’exchange is completed.
Russia’s position on Ukrainian attacks
Lavrov criticized the Ukrainian attacks on civilian targets, considering it a violation of the rules of war. The United Nations called for a clear response, criticizing what it described as the organization’s inability to adhere to its responsibilities.
Accusations of Europe of obstructing peace
Lavrov accused European countries such as Britain, France and Germany of supporting what he described as “Ukrainian Nazis”, considering intense attacks in the aircraft that are directly as a result of this support.
The continuation of work despite the provocations
Lavrov stressed that Russia will continue to work on peace agreements, based on the Istanbul Agreement, which was concluded between Putin and Trump, despite what he described as provocation of Kiev and attempts to obstruct negotiations.
