The Department of Supply in Esna, Luxor Governorate, launched a family’s initiative to establish races to sell red meat at reduced prices, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and an immediate response to the instructions of Eng. Abdul Muttalib Amara, Governor of Luxor, and under a field follow -up from Dr. Tamer Salah Mukhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in the governorate, and Dr. Mohamed Rizk, Chairman of the Esna City Council.
High -quality meat .. at competitive prices
The initiative aims to reduce the burden on Egyptian families, and to provide high quality meat at supported prices that suit different groups, in light of the cooperation between the Supply Directorate and the concerned authorities to ensure the quality of the supply and its availability in appropriate quantities.
Meat races are widely popular … accredited quality and prices affordable
Al -Shader, who is in the city of Esna, witnessed a remarkable turnout from the citizens, who expressed their satisfaction with the level of service, the quality of the offered meat, and the appropriate prices that take into account the current economic conditions.
Strict veterinary control to ensure safety
The initiative was implemented in full coordination with the Department of Veterinary Medicine in Esna, as the meat presented was examined to ensure that it complies with health standards and requirements, ensuring the safety of the consumer and the quality of the product.
Dr. Tamer Salah Mukhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Luxor, stressed that these initiatives come at the heart of the Ministry’s role to serve citizens, noting a study of expanding the initiative to include new villages and areas within the scope of the Esna Center, in cooperation with the executive authorities in the governorate.
An invitation to participate and societal interaction
For his part, Ahmed Taha, Director of the Esna Supply Department, called on citizens to positively interact with the initiative and benefit from the services provided, stressing the importance of reporting any observations to ensure support for its beneficiaries, and achieving the highest levels of quality and transparency in providing basic commodities.
