The General Health Consultant and President of the Friends of Health Association, Dr. Kawthar Al -Eid The Hajj season for this year 1446 AH is imminent, and with the approaching of the entry of the month of Dhu al -Hijjah, millions of Muslims around the world are preparing to perform this great duty, which requires physical effort and health and psychological readiness to ensure the safety of pilgrims.

The feast is that the performance of the Hajj requires early preparation that includes a doctor’s review, and obtaining mandatory vaccinations such as forknoid fever vaccine, and desirable as influenza vaccine and Coveyd-19, especially for people with chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease.
And I advised Dr. Kawthar Eid pilgrims by following a healthy diet during the performance of the rituals, and avoiding exposed foods, taking care to drink sufficient amounts of water to avoid dehydration, noting the importance of using umbrellas and cotton clothes to reduce the risk of sunstroke, and take regular rest periods during navigation.
She stressed the importance of personal hygiene, the use of masks in crowded places, adherence to the instructions of the competent authorities to organize crowds, and the need to report any health symptoms as soon as they appear.
And called Dr. Eid pilgrims to kindness themselves and to be patient and good morals, considering that good dealing and cooperation is one of the purposes of Hajj. And she concluded with the supplication that God will perform a pilgrimage this year for good, and that the pilgrims return to their homelands safely Ghanem.
