The Confederation of African Football sent a letter to its Tanzanian counterpart, expressing its sincere appreciation to the Union and the Tanzania government for their strong cooperation and their commitment to prepare for the final hosting.
Kaf said in his statement that after a series of detailed technical assessments conducted by the International Football Confederation of International Football Confederation, and taking into account the current rainy season in Tanzania, the Federation highly recommended – from a purely technical point of view – to hold the final in Zanzibar.
It is scheduled to host the Aman Stadium in Zanzibar, the second leg of the Confederation Cup final between Simba and Nahda Berkane, instead of the Tanzanian capital, Dar Al Salam.
The Aman Stadium hosted the Simba Tanzanian match with South African Stelposh, in the first leg of the Confederation Cup semi -final, which witnessed the victory of the Tanzania champion with a goal without a response, while settling a negative tie without the goals of the second leg.
The Moroccan Berkane Renaissance team arrived in the Confederation Cup final, after winning the final semi-finals of 4-1 in the total of the two matches.

The Confederation of African Football decided to hold the first leg of the Confederation Cup final between the Renaissance of Berkane and Simba on May 17, in the city of Berkane on the municipal stadium, while the return match will be held on the 25th of the same month at the Aman Bazibar Stadium.
