The Iftaa House received a question from one of the followers of his text: What is the ruling on taking off the Ihram dress and changing it during the Ihram?
Ifta: It is permissible to take off the Ihram dress and change it during ihram
Dar Al -Iftaa said: It is permissible to take off the clothing of ihraam and change it during the Ihram, and there is nothing wrong with that, as long as the Muharram is a man or a woman who was not worn by prohibited the prohibitions of dress in its ihraam.
She added: From the prohibitions of ihraam to the memory: wearing the stitched; This is what was reported on the authority of Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with them, that a man said: O Messenger of God, what is the forbidden from the clothes? Then the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, said: “ The stitches of the sewn, and the cause in the prohibition: prevent luxury with clothing.
The Ifta concluded: This is in the right of a man, but the woman’s right is permissible for a forbidden woman to wear whatever she wants, even if it is sewn for other than the face and the hands; As it is forbidden to show the face and the hands in particular; In “Sahih Al -Bukhari” from the hadith of Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with them, the words of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, answered the question of one of the Companions about the clothes of Muharram: “And the prohibited woman does not receive, and do not wear the jugs.”
