The composer Bahaa Hosni was keen to respond to the decision of the association concerned with authors and composers to refer him to the investigation, after it was proven that he was using a fake testimony in the complaint incident submitted against the artist Hussein Al Jasmi.
Bahaa Hosni issued a statement, stipulating the following: I continued with an amazement and great amazement that was recently issued by the Association of Authors, Composers and publishers from an official statement, dealing with the complaint provided by the artist Hussein Al Jasmi, which relates to the use of musical phrases from the tune of my songs issued in 1992, without permission or permission, in his song I love you that was presented in 2018, which represents a clear infringement of my literary and material rights.
I would like to confirm the public opinion and my colleagues from the artists:
First, I submitted the complaint according to the official and legitimate methods within the association, which referred the file to the file to a specialized technical committee known for its integrity and experience, and I received a signature report from the members of the committee confirming the existence of an explicit congruence in the melodic sentences between the two works, a report that relied on audio and visual technical evidence that does not accept interpretation.
Second, what was stated in the association’s statement from describing the report as fake formulation, and claiming that I circumvented a signature or seal, is a completely disgraceful thing, and it offends me at the technical and personal professional level and kept it, and I also keep my entire legal right to pursue everyone who offended me publicly or within, especially since the documents I own issued from a committee are already and permanent, and formed based on a decision from within the association.
Third, in front of the serious accusations stated in the statement of my person, I demand an official and transparent investigation within the association, under the supervision of a neutral party or representatives from outside the current board Professionalism and member rights, and to protect the same reputation of the association from drifting in personal conflicts or settling accounts, God forbid.

Fourth, the “Almighty” song is not just a transient artwork, but rather a milestone in my artistic career, and one of the songs that was suspended in the minds and conscience of the masses of the modern Egyptian song in Egypt and around the world, with the voice of Hisham Abbas and high Saleh, and silence on its theft is a betrayal of an artistic and historical, and excessive the rights of dozens of creators, who see in this case as a model of what the artist faces And theft without accountability.
Fifthly, my choice of judicial methods stemmed from a desire to escalate, but rather came after many friendly attempts, to communicate with the artist Hussein Al Jasmi’s work team, did not receive any response. So,
I decided to take all legal and judicial paths according to the Intellectual Property Protection Law.
Which criminalizes the use of any protected content without explicit permission, and allows the owner of the original right to submit an official complaint calling for the removal of the content from the estimal platforms and social media sites and compensation for the damage.
Sixth, I call on the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, the Syndicate of Musical Professions, and all the authorities concerned with protecting creativity to stand next to the real creators, and consider this issue a dangerous alarm that requires a comprehensive review of the mechanisms of protecting intellectual property rights, and stopping the overlooking the violations that the Arab creator at home and abroad is exposed to.
Finally, this issue is no longer the issue of “stolen melody”, but rather turned into the issue of artistic dignity and professional responsibility, and I am going in it until the end, in defense of my right and the right of every artist who sees in his work an extension of his art, spirit and history, not just a digital product that is copied, I will not give up, and I will not retreat, because the battle no longer belongs to me alone, but rather everyone who believes in The creator has a voice that should not be stolen.
