According to the British Daily Mail newspaper, a group of researchers analyzed the data of more than 3,000 children participating in an American study on how childhood experiments affect the brain growth and health.
The results of the study revealed that obesity, especially abdominal obesity, can weaken the ability of adolescents to learn, memory and control their feelings, so it is necessary to pay attention to strengthening healthy habits at an early stage, not only for physical health, but also for brain health, and that the treatment of obesity in adolescents and their prevention will not only improve health, but may improve brain health as well
“I am concerned about the impact of these changes on the lives of adolescents later, and there is a possibility that they will be more likely to problems such as memory or dementia problems as they get older,” said Dr. Augusto Cesar FD Morais, of the University of Texas.
Earlier, a study revealed that increased middle -aged belly fat greatly affects the cognitive function, and the possibility of nervous degenerational diseases in the long term, including dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.
