Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development, Minister of Health and Population, stressed the importance of investing in developing the capabilities and skills of human cadres, which represents the cornerstone in achieving comprehensive development, and the need to enhance the feeling of national responsibility in new generations, in a manner that ensures their active participation in decision -making.
This came during the periodic meeting of the Ministerial Group for Human Development, headed by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development, Minister of Health and Population, and in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, Dr. Adnan Fagri, Minister of Justice, Dr. Osama Al -Azhari, Minister of Awqaf, Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, Dr. Majid Othman, former Minister of Communications and Information Technology And the decision of the Supreme Consultative Committee for Human Development, along with a number of deputies of ministers, including Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Abla Al -Alfi, Deputy Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Mohamed Al -Tayeb, Deputy Minister of Health, and Dr. Mohamed Al -Tayeb, Deputy Minister of Health.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed the importance of the role played by the Ministerial Group for Human Development in achieving integration and coordination between the various efforts to achieve the goals of sustainable development 2030, noting that the trend towards adopting artificial intelligence techniques and digital transformation carries great opportunities to increase productivity and reduce burdens, which requires the optimal readiness of these transformations.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar pointed out the necessity of continuous work to improve the indicators of human development in Egypt, noting that the government pays special attention to raising the level of living of citizens and improving the quality of their lives in various sectors, including health, education and social protection, and empowering young people and women, explaining that the analysis of human development indicators helps in directing policies and development programs effectively, with the concerted efforts of all concerned authorities to achieve the desired progress in this vital file.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar reviewed the integrative efforts made by the relevant ministries to develop the education sector in all its stages, starting from pre -university education to university education, and also touched on the proposed legislative and legal plans to address the challenges that negatively affect development, such as the problem of leakage of education, child labor, underage marriage, violence, bullying, harm to those with concerns, and its implications for the issue Population, the pivotal role of religious institutions in spreading awareness of societal issues and enhancing building an integrated Egyptian personality.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar pointed out the importance of building the capabilities of young people at all ages, to contribute to reducing unemployment rates and enhancing economic growth, as well as the importance of focusing on developing personal skills for students along with specialized technical skills, and working to enhance the sustainability of work in economic sectors that depend heavily on various technical competencies.
For his part, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, reviewed the vital role played by the ministry in discovering and sponsoring the talents of youth and refining their skills through the various programs and initiatives implemented, stressing the importance of effective integration and cooperation between all ministries and bodies concerned with the file of human development to achieve the ambitious national goals in this field.
For her part, Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, reviewed the Ministry’s efforts to provide the umbrella of social protection for the most needy groups, while emphasizing the need to link these categories to vocational qualification and training programs to enable them economically, and integrate them effectively into society, in a way that ensures the achievement of comprehensive and sustainable development.
In turn, Dr. Adnan Fangri, Minister of Justice, stressed the importance of developing long -term strategies for human development, targeting all age levels, noting that continuous and accurate follow -up to implement these plans is the true guarantee of achieving the desired goals and causing a tangible impact on the lives of citizens.
In a related context, Dr. Osama Al -Azhari, Minister of Awqaf, stressed the Ministry of Awqaf’s keenness to continue working hard in the axis of human building, as one of the main pillars in the ministry’s strategy, noting that the launch of a comprehensive digital platform for the Ministry of Awqaf includes a varied scientific and educational content that includes: literature, educational and guidelines, and games for children, along with a smart chat engine (GPT) that serves served The goals of the awareness and educational platform, explaining that it is scheduled to be officially announced after the blessed Eid Al -Adha, and the Ministry welcomed the complementarity and coordination between the Ministry of Endowments platform and the digital platform for human development, through the exchange of content and the integration of awareness messages in a way that enhances the state’s efforts in the field of sustainable development of awareness and human being.
Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, also reviewed the pivotal role of the governorates in implementing human development plans on the ground, noting the importance of adapting development programs to meet the special needs in each governorate and make the most of the local resources available to achieve the maximum benefit to citizens.
For his part, Dr. Majed Othman, the former Minister of Communications and Information Technology and the decision of the Supreme Consulting Committee for Human Development, presented a vision on the importance of keeping pace with the rapid technological developments and employing them in the service of human development goals, and pointed out that opinion polls indicate the increasing aspirations of citizens towards artificial intelligence in creating new job opportunities, which requires the necessity of preparing for these transformations and qualifying young cadres with the necessary digital skills.
The meeting also witnessed a detailed presentation presented by Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister of Education on the application of “Start” – the national base for youth skills, which aims to enable young people to discover and develop themselves and enhance their opportunities to obtain a decent work by providing them with an integrated group of personal and professional skills and competencies required in the labor market.
The “5 Seconds” application, which aims to identify the real challenges facing students, was presented and innovative solutions were presented, and a program and illustrative video of the application was presented.
