The Ministry of Environment, in cooperation with one of the environmental institutions, is organizing a climate financing forum under the title of Africa that grows green, as the forum is a high -level dynamic platform, next Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
Environmental sustainability in Egypt
The forum is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment, and it brings together policymakers, private sector leaders and financial institutions to meet capital needs for companies that strive to achieve green growth and environmental sustainability in Egypt and Africa, and the forum focuses on launching innovative financing mechanisms to support developmentable and influential projects for private sector companies in various sectors.
Climate Financing Forum
The forum is attended by the team, Eng. Kamel Al -Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Transport and Industry, Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment and Ahmed Kajuk, Minister of Finance, Eng. Hassan Al -Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Dr. Reem Abdel Majid, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of one of the private environmental institutions, and Dr. Kamel Al -Abdullah, CEO of a sugar company, in addition to a number of heads of Egyptian banks.
In another context, Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, held a meeting with Eng. Ahmed Al -Assar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Contractors Company, to discuss cooperation in the areas of recycling demolition and construction, wood waste and re -manufacturing wooden furniture, ways to benefit and optimal use of industrial waste, and presenting the company’s experiences in this regard
