The artist Ali Hamdi stressed that he did not retire from art, as some believe, explaining that the reason for his absence from the artistic scene during the recent period is due to the lack of appropriate work on him.
Hamdi said in exclusive statements to Cairo 24: I am not retired from art, and the reason for my absence is that it is not exposed to the artworks of this period, and when he is exposed to it, it is not appropriate for me.
Ali Hamdi expressed his hope to return to his fans soon through a strong artwork worthy of his artistic career and the confidence of his fans in it, stressing that he still has a lot to present him on the artistic scene.

It is noteworthy that Ali Hamdi participated in a number of artworks, including: the Egyptian Stock Exchange coffee movie in 2019, and the series of the wedding of Satan, the second part in 2019.
Afrah Satan series
The events of the series revolve around Hammam, the businessman Al -Saidi, and his wife Jamalat, who brings a maid for the purpose of sympathy for her, but Hammam falls in love with this maid, and on the other hand he tries to contact figures with influence in order to control the iron trade, which is starring Jamal Suleiman.
While Ali Hamdi also participated in the Ramadan Kareem series, the second part, which was shown in 2023, and dealt with work in a comic dramatic framework, the events of the series highlight the daily details in the month of Ramadan for a group of residents of one of the popular lanes.
