Helmy Tolan, a member of the Technical Committee of the Football Association, announced the identity of the coach who will lead Egypt during his expected participation in the Arab Cup Qatar Cup 2025.

In radio statements, Helmy Tolan revealed that the Board of the Football Association cost him the leadership of Egypt, which will participate in the next edition of the Arab Cup Qatar Cup 2025, which Egypt’s first football team is absent from participating in, due to the conditions of the overlapping dates of the championship with the dates of the closing camp for the great Pharaohs before the African Nations Championship.
Earlier, Cairo 24 knew that the Board of the Football Association has a proposal to participate in the 2005 team in the championship Arab CupIt is scheduled to be held in Qatar during the period from 1 to 18 December, after the Football Association Council has finally settled to participate in the Arab Cup, but not in the first team.
The Football Association resolved its decision not to participate in the first team in the Arab Cup, and this came after consulting with the technical staff of the great Pharaohs led by the twins Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan, due to the contradiction of the dates of the Arab Cup championship with the date of the closing camp of Egypt before participating in the African Nations Championship in Morocco, which the Pharaohs begin their career on December 22.
The Egyptian team will have to travel to Morocco at least a week before the start of the African Nations Championship, that is, within the limits of next December 15, which contradicts the period of the Arab Cup Championship.
The Football Association Council recently consulted with the technical staff of the Egyptian team led by the twins Hossam Hassan and Ibrahim Hassan regarding the participation in the Arab Cup, and the two parties agreed to the difficulty of participating in the tournament due to the appointments.
