The ordinary general assembly of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation, headed by Eng. Sherif El -Sherbiny, approved the adoption of the formation of the board of directors of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sewerage headed by Eng. Mamdouh Raslan.
In its meeting, the association also adopted the financial statements and independent and concluded final accounts for the fiscal year 2023/2024, in the presence of members of the General Assembly and representatives of the relevant authorities.
The Minister of Housing Sharif Al -Sherbiny stressed – in his speech – that the Ministry of Housing and its destinations bears national responsibility in providing drinking water and sanitation services in quality and efficiency, as it is one of the most important basic services that affect the lives of every citizen.
The Minister stressed that the state pays great attention to this sector, which is evident through the presidential initiatives launched by President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, President of the Republic, foremost of which is the presidential initiative “a decent life”, which contributes to improving the level of services in the Egyptian countryside, noting that the projects and achievements achieved by the holding company is a basic pillar in comprehensive development plans.
The Minister expressed his appreciation for the efforts of employees of the holding company and its subsidiary companies, stressing that the business results reflect a clear commitment to achieving national goals, despite economic challenges.
At the end of the meeting, the minister affirmed the continuous support of the holding company and its companies affiliated with the development of the drinking water and sanitation sector, calling for the continued efforts to improve the quality of service, ensure the sustainability of resources, and to improve the institutional performance in line with the aspirations of the state and citizens towards a better future.
