The government service centers evaluation committee began handing the shields to the centers that classify the golden category within the fifth session of the government service evaluation program “Evaluation 5”, which aims to enhance the quality and efficiency of government services provided to citizens and residents.
The field visits included the delivery of shields to a number of centers that achieved this classification for the first time, namely: the Customer Service Center of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, the General Traffic Department (the main building), the General Traffic Department (Operations and Traffic Operations Management Center) of the Ministry of Interior, and the Customer Service Center in the Department of Minors’ Funds Affairs of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and the Customer Service Center of the device Real estate space and registration.
The golden shield has also been handed over to other centers that maintained its distinction for more than one session, which reflects its continuous commitment to improvement and development. Among these parties are: Customs Affairs – the marine port (customs clearance services center), nationality, passports and residence affairs (Muharraq Branch), Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (Issa City Branch), General Administration of Civil Defense (Al -Muharraq Security Complex Branch), Information and Electronic Government Authority (ID Card Center in Al Seef Complex in Arad), Criminal Information Administration (Southern Branch), General Administration of Traffic (Security Complex Branch) In Muharraq).
The shields were delivered by Mr. Mohamed Ali Al -Qaid, Chairman of the Information and Electronic Government Authority and Chairman of the Government Service Evaluation Committee, and Sheikha Rana Bint Issa Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration and Deputy Chairman of the Committee, as well as members of the committee and the administrative and central team, which confirms the importance of this honor as part of the performance development strategy in the government sector.
This achievement highlights the distinguished national competencies enjoyed by the Kingdom of Bahrain in providing high -quality government services, as it reflects the commitment of government agencies to adopt best practices to raise the efficiency of institutional performance and enhance the experience of beneficiaries.
The committee will continue during the coming period to hand over the shields to the rest of the centers that have the golden and platinum classification within the fifth session of the program, as part of a comprehensive plan to honor all distinguished bodies and motivate them to continue to improve the quality of the services provided.
It is noteworthy that the government service centers evaluation program “Evaluation” was launched in 2018, and it was able to raise the efficiency of government services provided to the beneficiaries, as 47 government service centers obtained the classification of the golden category, while 58 centers were closed based on detailed criteria that measure the level of readiness and response in the center, in order to enhance the experience of beneficiaries and contribute to encouraging the employment of alternative and supplementary channels.
This achievement reflects the commitment of government agencies to shift towards a flexible and advanced service model, in line with government trends and is consistent with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, through digitization of services and raising operational readiness to provide more efficient and distinct services.
The development process is an integrated path that requires the concerted administrative and executive efforts, as it focuses on the role of officials in upgrading administrative and procedural work, which contributes to improving the quality of services provided and simplifying procedures, to ensure the provision of a distinguished service experience that meets the aspirations of customers and enhances the efficiency of institutional performance.
Government service centers in the Kingdom of Bahrain reflect the seriousness and professionalism of government institutions in serving the citizen, resident and visitor.
