PhD students in the program of learning difficulties and developmental disabilities organized autism at the Faculty of Education and Administrative and Technical Sciences at the Arab Gulf University, a meeting in the Hala Café of the Alaiya Autism Center in Bahrain, under the supervision of the participating professor of special education and the program coordinator, Dr. Wad Hussein Daghistani, within the field of field applications in the training program. The students got acquainted with the professional qualification programs for people with autism spectrum disorder, and they interacted with students working on the ground in the cafe, and they got acquainted with the nature of vocational rehabilitation programs to train students on daily life skills, handicrafts and computer skills to qualify them to enter the local market armed with skills and training. In a related context, doctoral students visited the learning and developmental disabilities program within the training program For professional qualification to see vocational qualification programs that serve the autistic category from the age of 9 to 19 years. The activities varied between handicrafts, agriculture, porcelain work, wood work and the heritage of heritage. This, and PhD students presented a workshop targeting the teachers and dealt with social stories in the context of the conclusion of field training organized by the department in the Abdul Latif Al -Fawzan Center in the city of Khobar in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In her part, Dr. Dagstani confirmed that the aim of these visits and field applications is represented in the field Expand the horizons of graduate students through direct knowledge of field practices in the field of autism spectrum disorder, which contributes to refining their academic and professional skills, as these visits, meetings and workshops come within the series of field activities organized by the program to enhance cooperation between the university and institutions specialized in caring for autism, in a way that reflects positively on the development of students’ skills, and contributes to upgrading the educational and social sectors.
