The Emirates driving company, listed in the Abu Dhabi Securities Market, registered a growth in its net profit by 8% during the first quarter of 2025, compared to the same period in the previous year, as the net profit reached 68.8 million dirhams, compared to 63.97 million dirhams in the first quarter of 2024.
The profits also increased before calculating interest, taxes, consumption and firefighting by 21% to 349.6 million dirhams, while the profits before the tax amounted to 79.65 million dirhams, achieving annual growth of 14%.
With regard to revenues, the company recorded a remarkable growth of 85%, to reach 167.1 million dirhams during the first quarter of 2025, compared to revenues amounting to 90.14 million dirhams during the same period of the previous year. The company attributed this growth to its geographical expansion, the high number of new registrants, in addition to the improvements that were made to operational efficiency.
The company’s general assembly approved last March the distribution of cash dividends of 34% of the capital for the fiscal year 2024, with a total distribution of 183.16 million dirhams, equivalent to 17 fils per share.
