The CI Ratings Agency for the long -term and short -term category of the CIB CIB is ranked and traded on the Egypt Stock Exchange at “B”, in addition to confirming the basic bank classification at “B”, the basic financial strength classification of “BB+”, and evaluation of exceptional support at the level of “average”, with a future look, with a future look, with a future look. Stable.

The Commercial International Bank is the largest institution listed in Egypt and the most prominent private bank, which has a diverse shareholder base that includes international investors, and its strong classification is based on the efficiency of its management in dealing with economic crises, in addition to the quality of financial performance indicators that include the quality of assets, liquidity and capital levels.

In 2023 and 2024, the bank recorded high profitable levels and a remarkable expansion in the margin of net interest, and due to its size and regular importance, the bank may have a moderate exceptional support from the Egyptian authorities when necessary.

The Commercial International Bank has a pioneering position among private banks in Egypt, which reflects the strength of its trademark and the efficiency of its administration.

The bank also maintains adequate levels of capital and liquidity, as well as a long record of high profit performance, however, the bank faces challenges related to capital allocations, especially since a large part of its credit assets is based on foreign currencies, which may affect the rate of capital adequacy in the event of a decrease in the value of the Egyptian pound.

And the Capital Intelligence believes that despite these challenges, the bank continues to provide a strong capitalist base, as it has capital adequacy rates that exceed the average sector over the years, and the pace of generation of internal capital is good, which enhances the bank’s ability to deal with any future needs.

In terms of credit risks, investment concentrations in government securities and transactions with the Central Bank of Egypt remain a major factor that must be monitored, and despite this, the Commercial Bank is able to manage these risks effectively thanks to its conservative strategy.

With the stability of the economic environment and the decline in interest rates, Capital Intelligence expects that irregular loans (NPLS) will remain controlled, while strong capital and good operational profitability provide additional protection for the bank.

The bank is characterized by a strong record in achieving profits, as its profit is based on a wide interest margin and a good level of operational efficiency. In 2024, the bank maintained its strong performance, with its focus on enhancing current accounts and saving for small and medium enterprises to reduce financing costs.

With interest rates gradually, the bank seeks to maintain stability of interest margins through effective risk management strategies.

In terms of financing structure, Capital Intelligence believes that the bank still depends mainly on customer and capital deposits, with the minimum dependence on financing between banks, which enhances its financial stability.
