On May 3, 2025, and on her seventh birthday, activists in the United Kingdom commemorated the memory of the Palestinian girl, Hind Ragab, who was martyred with her family on January 29, 2024 in the Tal Al -Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City.
The car, which was carrying Hind and six of its relatives, was fired 335 bullets from an Israeli tank, in a crime that shook the global conscience.
Activists organized solidarity activities to highlight the suffering of Gaza’s children, recalling the horrific details of the six -year -old girl, after being besieged in the bodies of her relatives for long hours, seeking help over the phone, without anyone being able to save her.
The Israeli forces also targeted an ambulance of the Palestinian Red Crescent that tried to reach it, which led to the martyrdom of paramedics Youssef Zeno and Ahmed Al -Madhoun.
The “Forensk Arcketter” research group in the United Kingdom indicated that the investigations confirmed the use of a weapon that fired between 750 to 900 rounds per minute, which denies the Israeli account that claimed that its forces are not in the region.
In a related context, the Hind Ragab Foundation, which was established in honor of it, filed a complaint with the International Criminal Court against the Israeli officer Lieutenant -Colonel Bani Aharon, Commander of the Armored Brigade 401 in the Israeli army, accused of direct responsibility for the crime.
Activists in Britain reiterated their calls for justice to the child Hind and all the victims of the war in Gaza, stressing that her memory will remain a symbol of the steadfastness and suffering of Palestinian children.
