Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Bahraini Journalists Association organized, this evening, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its establishment, in the presence of a number of prominent media and national officials and personalities, along with a group of journalists and members of the association.
The ceremony witnessed the honoring of the founding member and the first president of the Bahraini Journalists Association, His Excellency Mr. Nabil bin Yaqoub Al -Hamr, the advisor of His Majesty for Information Affairs, and the Ministry of Information was honored, which the association received its continuous support, where the honor award was received by Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al -Nuaimi, Minister of Information, was also honored by Issa bin Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, advisor to media affairs at the Crown Prince’s Court, a member of the association and those who are constantly supporting it, along with the founding members of the association who represented basic columns in establishing the association and building its media edifice, namely: Anwar Abdul Rahman, d. Hilal Al -Shayji, Ali Sayyar, Ahmed Salman Kamal, Ibrahim Bashmi, Issa Al -Shayji, Hamad Al -Mannai, Ali Saleh, Khaled Al -Zayani, Saeed Muhammad, Abdullah Al -Ayoubi, Ezzeddine Al -Moayad, Abdullah Salman, Ali Al -Thawadi, Salman Al -Ajmi, Jalil Omar, Khalil Youssef, Ahmed Al -Bousa, Sawsan Al -Shaer, the child of the caliph, Mansour Radhi, Bruin Nasrallah, and Issam Al -Mousawi.
The association also honored the strategic partners from the supporting bodies, bodies and companies who supported the association throughout its career, and provided effective support that enabled it to launch qualitative initiatives and training and development programs that strengthened the capabilities of the media, and affected the national media scene.
On this occasion, Mr. Issa Ali Al -Shaiji, President of the Bahraini Journalists Association, stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, in light of the prosperous covenant of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country’s great country, and based on the ambitious visions of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, established a firm model for the state of institutions and the democratic approach, which provided a legislative environment and a climate of openness The national press enabled us to play its role and perform its mission with full freedom, responsibility and professionalism.
Al -Shayji pointed out that the Bahraini Journalists Association, which is celebrated with the 25th anniversary of its founding, stands today on the threshold of a renewed stage of giving, based on an ancient legacy built by the first founders, and an ambitious vision led by a young generation who is able and believed in his media message, stressing that the integration of experience and ambition constitutes the driving force towards strengthening the leadership of the Bahraini press regionally and internationally.
Al -Shayji said that this occasion represents a strategic station to revive the great heritage of the first founders who put the first building blocks for the national press profession, pointing to the keenness to continue and in the spirit of innovation and professionalism to enhance the media message and its role in serving the country.
He added that the association will remain fixed in its era and mission, committed to supporting freedom of the press, and enhancing the position of the national press as a media lighthouse that illuminates the local, Arab and international arena, raising the flag of professionalism and credibility at all times and places.
