Mr. Ahmed Abdel -Rahman Al -Saati, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Russian Federation, participated in the meeting of the ministers of culture in the Islamic world held in the Russian Republic of Tarsan, headed by Mrs. Lopeva, Minister of Culture in Russia Federal.
During the opening session of the conference, titled “Dialogue of Cultures: The basis for preserving identity and diversity in a multi -polar world”, the ambassador delivered a speech in which he affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, may God protect and preserve him, launched many initiatives and projects that aim to establish and establish a culture of dialogue, coexistence and tolerance between different cultures, religions, people The most prominent of which is the “Declaration of the Kingdom of Bahrain” aimed at consolidating coexistence as a method of peace in the world, and the establishment of the King Hamad International Center for Coexistence and Tolerance in 2018, which works to implement the royal vision in spreading the culture of coexistence and tolerance, and obtaining the approval of the United Nations General Assembly on a draft resolution submitted by the Kingdom to adopt January 25 of each year as an international day for peaceful coexistence.
The meeting was held in the presence of a number of ministers of culture, representatives of the Islamic World Organization for Education, Science and Culture Organization (ISESCO), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the participation of member states.
