Farmers in the governor of Aswan continue to hand over the wheat crop to the silos, Shawn and Al -Banker inside and outside the governorate, which has so far reached 355 thousand and 466 tons, amid follow -up by Major General Dr. Ismail Kamal, Governor of Aswan.
Supply all quantities of wheat in light of the many facilities
It is worth noting that the governor of Aswan gave instructions to the officials of the Directorate of Supply and the competent authorities to intensify awareness efforts to introduce farmers the importance of supplying all quantities of wheat in light of the many facilities provided by the state agencies to them in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi to reach the maximum supply for the current harvest season 2025.
For his part, Eng. Khaled Abu Al -Qasim, Director General of the Supply Directorate, explained that the inspectors and officials of the Directorate in the sub -departments continue their work in order to overcome the target of the quantities of wheat supplied from the areas cultivated with this strategic crop, which reaches 409 thousand and 547 acres.
He pointed out that the silos, Shawn and Al -Banker in the governorate’s scope witnessed the supply of 137,196 tons, while 218 thousand and 270 tons were supplied inside the silos of the neighboring governorates that were coordinated with them to receive the quantities of wheat in Termasah and the guidance of Qena, Esna, Sohag, Beni Suef, Fayoum and Minya.
