The defense of the artist, Mohamed Ghoneim, said that the artist was represented in front of the competent authorities today and signed the approval of the procedures for his trial in the case of threatening his ex -wife with, as the competent authorities ordered to continue his imprisonment pending the case until the date of his trial session is determined.

Lawyer Ismail Baraka said that the security services arrested the artist Mohamed Ghoneim earlier, to implement the court’s decision to sentence him to 3 years imprisonment in absentia in accusing him of threatening his ex -wife because of differences between them.
Baraka added, in exclusive statements to Cairo 24, that the artist Mohamed Ghoneim will appear before the investigation authorities tomorrow, until the date of his re -sessions is determined, in implementation of the sentence issued against him with 3 years in prison, indicating that he will return the procedures in the case.
