The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Badr Abdel -Ati, said that the preparatory ministerial meeting of the 34th Arab Summit, which was held in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, took place in a positive atmosphere and witnessed a great deal of consensus between the Arab foreign ministers on the various issues on the agenda.
Abdel -Ati said during a meeting on the Cairo News Channel, that the meeting witnessed the transfer of the presidency from the Kingdom of Bahrain to Iraq, and the draft decisions that will be submitted to the Arab leaders were discussed for approval at the upcoming summit next Saturday.
The 34 Arab Summit
The minister stressed that among the most prominent draft decisions that have been agreed upon, a draft resolution for the Palestinian issue, which reflects the Arab consensus on supporting the central issue, including emphasizing the support of the early recovery plan and the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, which was approved by the Arab emergency summit in Cairo on the fourth of last March.
