Israeli media reported that one of the reserve soldiers in the Israeli occupation army had been sent to prison for five days, after he refused to continue to perform his military service in the occupied West Bank.

War in the West Bank

The soldier justified his position, saying: I am not ready to continue participating in the activities of the Israeli army in Judea and Samaria, the West Bank, and the battle in Gaza is completely illegal.

This development comes at a time when the Israeli army is witnessing increasing pressure against the background of continuous military operations in the Gaza Strip, in parallel with its activities in the West Bank, amid increasing internal and external criticisms on the legitimacy of these operations and their humanitarian repercussions.
