Mohamed Talaat, head of the Mobile Division in the Chambers of Commerce, revealed that there is a slight increase in the prices of mobile phones in the Egyptian market during the last period, with the difference in the market situation in terms of demand for purchase.
The head of the Mobile Division in the Chambers of Commerce added, in a special statement to Cairo 24, that some mobile companies raised the prices of phone by up to 5%, with the recent transportation costs increased.
Talaat pointed out that the prices of phones will witness a great stability during the coming period, with competitions between major international companies to produce and pump them in the Egyptian market, while targeting the market coverage and export to global markets, explaining that the production lines of some companies have started to manufacture formally, with the anticipation of new companies that will produce new phones with distinct capabilities during the coming months, to satisfy the market.
In a separate context, Eng. Mohamed Ibrahim, the official of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, revealed that the device is in the process of launching a system that allows citizens to contract remotely without the need to go to the branches of telecommunications companies, stressing that all services will reach homes soon.

Ibrahim said, during the meeting of the Communications and Information Technology Committee in the House of Representatives, last Monday, that the law adopts the national ID card as a basic proof document in all transactions, noting that the state has taken multiple measures to support people with determination, including a 50% reduction on all systems and services for life, and providing sign language in customer service centers, in addition to allocating a Braille language service for visual liabilities.
