13 people were killed, including nine civilians and four soldiers, following two consecutive explosions during the process of disposing of expired ammunition in a military warehouse in the “Jarut” area in the West Java district of Indonesia. The ABC News network quoted the spokesman for the Indonesian army, Christomi Santori, as saying that the accident occurred in an environmentally protected area in the village of “Sajara”, where the army was getting rid of invalid ammunition.
