Sumaya Al -Suwaidi and Mona Tahnoun, members of the Parliamentary Division of the Federal National Council in the Union of Councils of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, participated yesterday, Tuesday, in the work of the twelfth conference of Muslim parliamentaries, as part of the work of the nineteenth session of the Union Conference held at the headquarters of the House of Representatives in the Republic of Indonesia in the capital, Jakarta. The meeting dealt with “the capabilities of women in solving local and regional problems and conflicts” and “protecting Muslim women and children in the areas of occupation and conflicts, especially in Palestine and other countries that suffer from conflicts.” Sumaya Al -Suwaidi stressed that the participation of women in making peace is a pivotal role in enhancing the chances of success of the agreements
