The Minister of Affairs of the Shura and Representatives Ghanem Al -Buainain stressed that the announcement of vacant jobs in the government is not necessary, because the civil service apparatus has a database, whether from the new ones or its employees, and in the absence of the qualification, vacancies are announced in the newspapers.
He said in his response to the question of Representative Mahmoud Verdun that: The number of non -Bahrainis is a decrease, and the number in 2019 reached about 7882, and today it is 5661, which is a gradual and health decrease for the absence of the need for such jobs, and today the Bahrainis 86%, while non -Bahrainis reached 14%, and non -Bahraini will not be used only when necessary, the government is on the right path, we want a gradual decrease, and not suddenly harmful With the quality of services, the government is keen to give priority to Bahraini in jobs, not at the expense of the quality of service.
For his part, Representative Mahmoud Verdun said: The decrease in the number of foreigners in government agencies is a superficial decline, because it has assigned some jobs to the private sector, and everyone sees the high budget of the projects to supply the workforce, and these cannot be calculated in the percentage of Bahnah in them, and these are not interrupted by the state, they provide general services to the state
He stated that the repetition by renewing the contracts of foreigners and invoking under the pretext of training the citizen is not glorified.
