The Minister of Social Development, Osama Al -Alawi, affirmed that Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, pays great attention to young people as a basic pillar in sustainable development paths, and major actors in promoting the values of participation, solidarity and responsibility.
In the presence of Al -Alawi, the work of the second Gulf Youth Forum for Social Responsibility, organized by the Bahraini Social Responsibility Association with the participation of a group of youth of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and a number of official and societal personalities.
The minister expressed his pride in this Gulf initiative, which is a leading platform to enhance the concepts of social responsibility and exchange experiences between the Gulf youth, stressing that it represents an important step towards supporting the role of youth in developing their societies.
He pointed out that the ministry always seeks to enhance the culture of social responsibility by supporting youth and social initiatives, and activating the partnership between the public and private sector and civil society, pointing out that such activities contribute to motivating young people to initiative and social leadership.
