Al -Abbasi: Bahrain is enlightened by His Majesty the King’s view of developing cooperation with Arab parliaments

Karima Muhammad Al -Abbasi, Secretary -General of the Shura Council, emphasized that the legislative authority in the Kingdom of Bahrain – and the consequences and visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, the country, to expand the frameworks of Arab cooperation and solidarity – places its priorities to develop coordination and exchange experiences between Arab parliaments, in order to achieve common goals and goals.

This came during the participation of the Secretary -General of the Shura Council in the meeting of the 44th Executive Committee of the General Secretariat Association for Arab Parliaments, which was held today (Saturday) in the sisterly People’s Democratic Republic, within the work of the thirty -eighth conference of the Arab Parliamentary Union.

She pointed out that the General Secretariat of the Shura Council and in implementation of the directives of His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Saleh Al -Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, confirms its strategic orientation to raise the level of cooperation with the general secretariats of Arab parliaments, to consolidate the importance of active partnership in an advanced systematic and administrative framework, in order to contribute to supporting the development of parliamentary performance, and achieving legislative integration between sister countries.

It is worth noting that the Executive Committee of the General Trustees Association for Arab Parliaments has circulated the file of the association’s articles of association, preparation for the next eleventh annual meeting, and discussed the main topic of the periodic meeting, in addition to reviewing the proposed amendments to the internal regulations to suit the amendments that were made to the statute of the association.
