The Board of Directors of the Bahrain Volleyball Federation held its fourth meeting chaired by Major General Sheikh Ali bin Muhammad Al Khalifa.
At the beginning of the meeting, Sheikh Ali bin Muhammad Al Khalifa welcomed all members and praised the success of the Sports Season 2024-2025 and praised the efforts of the Competitions Committee and all other relevant committees and stressed the importance of communicating with companies and providing an integrated offer to launch the league and cup of companies and the approved system and hold a meeting with representatives of those companies.
The council decided to appoint the two referees, Sayyid Jaafar Hussein, and Jaafar Al -Muallem, as referees specialized to manage beach volleyball tours and open the way for referees wishing to specialize.
The Council approved the work plan for the Center for Development and Academic Studies, with the importance of benefiting from the support of the “Tamkeen” work fund in financing the courses organized by the center.
With regard to the Beaches Council, it was decided to assign the Speaker of the Council, Sadiq Al -Zimour, to ask the coach, Mohamed El -Sheikh, to evaluate the team’s recent posts and prepare to participate in the first and second round of the thirtieth Arab Championship for Beach Volleyball in Lebanon and Jordan.
The Board of Directors approved the training camp for the men’s team in the Arab Republic of Egypt in preparation for its participation in the Asian Nations Cup and the West Asian Championship.
At the level of the Competitions Committee, it was decided to integrate the young and cubs competitions in line with the amendments made by the Asian and international federations over the ages of the players in international posts and to maintain one professional registration with the men’s teams.
The referee was assigned Sayyid Jaafar Hussein to be the director of the beach volleyball competition and coordination with the Vice President of the Federation and the director of the competition, Mohamed Al -Thawadi, to attend the meetings of the session.
