The repercussions of the painful traffic accident that took place at dawn last Friday still cast a shadow over Bahraini society, as the couple Ahmed Ibrahim (40 years) and his wife Fatima Abbas (36 years) lost their lives at the site of the accident, while their three children are still struggling to survive.
A relative of the family confirmed that the children were transferred from the site of the accident directly to the military hospital, while they were in a critical health condition, indicating that the situation is still difficult until now.
The source pointed out that the 12 -year -old girl exceeded the stage of danger after undergoing an accurate surgery during which an “iron” was installed to fix the fractures that she was exposed to in her legs, and she is now in the precise medical follow -up phase.
As for the two boys, Abdulaziz (7 years) and Youssef (9 years), the source confirmed that they are still in a complete coma, as a result of head injuries and internal bleeding.
He added that the case of Abdulaziz is the most dangerous, as he suffers from bleeding in the head, while Youssef regained consciousness for a short period and stated that he felt warm in his legs, then returned to the coma again.
The source expressed the hope of the family and their confidence in God in the healing of children, amid a state of continuous supplication that prevails in Bahrain, after the incident shook the feelings of everyone, and reopened the debate on the importance of promoting traffic safety in the sub -roads.
