The Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Menoufia, in coordination with the Consumer Protection Agency, was able to control an unlicensed facility for the manufacture of chocolate in the center and city of Bagour, to use materials that are not suitable for human consumption and lack health requirements and legal licenses.

This campaign comes in implementation of the directives of Major General Ibrahim Abu Laimon, Governor of Menoufia, by intensifying market control, controlling unknown products, and confronting commercial fraud images, to protect public health and achieve the public interest, within the framework of the directives of the political leadership.
The campaign resulted in the seizure of 9,000 stickers bearing fake brands, 320 unknown chocolate packages, 80 kilograms of chocolate as a final product, 1500 units of production tools and supplies, a packaging machine and unlicensed commercial seals.
The seizures have been seized and handed over to the competent authorities, taking all necessary legal measures regarding the violation.
For his part, the governor of Menoufia stressed the need for intense inspection campaigns to continue and concerted control efforts to control the markets, especially with the approach of Eid al -Adha, noting the importance of addressing any monopolistic practices or manipulation of prices, and ensuring the availability of basic commodities for citizens.
