Dr. Ibrahim Saber, the Governor of Cairo, stressed the raising of the degree of readiness in the Cairo Supply Directorate to receive the blessed Eid Al -Adha, stressing the need to provide all types of fresh red and white meat, and food commodities in all consumer complexes, wholesalers and mobile cars at reasonable prices that meet the needs of citizens and take into account that their prices are less than their counterparts in the markets.
The Governor of Cairo directed the necessity of activating the work of the Central Operations Room in the Directorate during the day of the stand and the days of the feast and its work for two periods for the speed of receiving citizens ’complaints throughout the day and resolving them, while linking them to the rooms of the ration departments operations to the neighborhoods, while launching joint campaigns with the directors of health and veterinary medicine, and the catering investigation on the butcher shops and frozen meat refrigerators before Eid al -Adha and during the Eid period.
The intensification of supply control over public and private bakeries throughout the days of Eid
The Governor of Cairo stressed the necessity of intensifying food control over public and private bakeries throughout the days of the holiday and emphasizing coordination between bakeries to rotate during the Eid holiday, as well as follow -up of gas cylinders warehouses and pay additional classes to meet all the needs of citizens and confront any increase in demand before and during the blessed Eid Al -Adha holiday, especially in areas that witness an increasing demand.
Nasser Thabet, Director of the Supply Directorate, pointed out that all the needs of citizens of basic commodities and meat of their frozen and fresh types and live municipal sheep and slaughtered through coordination with the Holding Company for Food Industries, Nile, Al -Ahram, and Egyptian companies, indicating that Cairo Governorate has established multiple outlets and spread in all neighborhoods under the supervision of the Veterinary Medicine and Supply Directorate to sell fresh municipal meat and refrigerator, The imported frozen at affordable prices and with discounts less than the counterparts offered in the markets to reduce the phenomenon of high prices of meat.
