The Hajar Al -Adeemah area of Izbat Ali Badr, in the Komir Rawir Center, south of Luxor Governorate, witnessed this morning a large fire that broke out in a large number of palm trees, which resulted in severe material losses without any human injuries.

According to the preliminary examination, the fire came at least 150 palm trees, in addition to damage to the irrigation and a number of agricultural hoses used to irrigate the land.
Immediately after receiving the communication, the civil protection forces, backed by firefighters, moved to the site of the fire, where they managed to control it and besieged it before it extended to the rest of the neighboring agricultural lands.
Rescue and control efforts
The firefighting efforts took several hours due to the density of palm trees and the rapid spread of fire, and elements of the local unit of the Esna Center and city participated in the process, in addition to the people of the region who were quick to help.
Extensive investigations are being conducted to determine the causes of the fire, amid weighting that the large heights of temperatures or a short circuit are behind its outbreak.
