My father is a nervous man, and we always see him lengthening my mother and offended her at the least reasons in front of me and I all my brothers, which makes us sometimes offending him and shortening in righteousness and charity to him, what is the ruling on that, and what do we do towards him?
The Honorable Mufti said through the official website of the Egyptian Ifta House: The father has the right to righteousness and charity in all cases, and this right does not fall off with his abuse, or his bad behavior with the mother, and the children must advise him to virtue, and to choose for that appropriate time and the appropriate manner, while praying for him with righteousness and guidance, and if they are unable to do so, they can resort to the people of goodness and righteousness from relatives or others; In response to his misconduct.
